Waltja has been working closely with our communities for many years, and we’ve learned a lot from our previous money management programs. Our latest focus is on helping build financial literacy support around things like:
- Simple budgeting tips, financial literacy basics and responsible gambling
- Guidance on how to communicate with agencies like Centrelink
- Boosting digital skills and staying safe online
- Supporting local leaders to spread the word and build trust within the community
Financial Literacy & Support Programs
Waltja is committed to supporting communities through various financial programs aimed at enhancing money management skills. Our current initiatives focus on capacity building, providing participants with essential financial literacy training to help them gain greater control over their finances. This includes improving budgeting skills, enhancing digital literacy and safety, and developing effective communication skills for engaging with relevant agencies. By empowering local leaders with strong financial communication, we aim to build trust within the community and promote financial independence for all.
